Deddington Babies and Toddlers Group

Who are we?

  • A group of mums, dads, carers, grandparents - in fact anyone who looks after babies and toddlers.
  • We come from Deddington and the surrounding villages.
  • The Group was formed in 1994.
  • We provide an opportunity for new parents or newcomers to the area to meet others.
  • A committee is voluntarily responsible for the accounts and general overseeing of the group.

What do we do?

  • Have fun in a safe and welcoming environment!
  • Toys, puzzles, trampoline, play house, tricycles and more available. Suitable from birth.
  • Sing-song session every week with musical instruments.
  • Story Time.
  • Craft activity fortnightly.
  • Refreshments for all included.
  • Special event weeks e.g. summer outing, Christmas party, playbus visit, teddy bears picnic, photographer etc.

When do we meet?

  • Every Friday (except Good Friday) from 9.30 - 11.30am at the Windmill Centre, Hempton Road, Deddington. Including school holidays.

How much does it cost?

  • £1.50 per family per week

What we ask of you

  • As the Group is self-funded and voluntarily run we appeal to you for help with the various tasks necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Group e.g. Making teas and coffees, packing away toys etc.
  • A task sheet is available each week for you to select from.
