The Friendship Club is open to men and women over 55 years of age who not only seek the camaraderie of like minded mature people but also continue to have an interest in local and global affairs.
Our meetings take place fortnightly in the Windmill Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30pm to 4pm. We enjoy a variety of talks, discussions, gentle activities and occasional outings. Talks during the past year have included the Banbury Homeless, Age Concern andTravel Talks. We've also held Easter, Harvest and Christmas luncheons, quizzes, scrabble drives and beetle drives. More recently, carpet bowls are proving quite popular with members.
