Writers' Groups

Following the success of previous competitions (see page 10 of this edition of the DN), Deddington Writers Group continues to run a Writing Competition in association with Deddington Festival, with larger prizes and well-known authors who have agreed to be the judges.

The competition is in two sections:

  • The Open Competition - two categories for short story and for poetry.
  • The Junior Competition - sections for three age-groups each inviting a story or a poem on a chosen theme.
