HI,
I have just moved in to the village with my girlfriend at Geggs Nook and have had a bit of spare time to get out on my bike and explore a few of the local trails, i haven't seen that many others doing the same though and was wondering whether there were any keen moutain bikers around the village who could share some local knowledge of the paths and trails around here and the surrounding area,

Regards
Nick

Try Hempton Road - Daedings - down hill - through Daedas Wood - turn left on Gated Road - Round MOD site (bridleway) - left through Bartons - right s/p S Newington - past pub - right again at T junction - at S Newington turn left onto bridleway - down steepish boggy hill - left at end - up v steep hill - round farm - straight across main road onto track - after about 2 miles left to Great Tew. Have beer. Round back of pub next to beer garden onto track - right round bridleway - past farmyard development - onto road turn left - left again at T junction - into Nether Worton - right onto track - left onto road - up hill to Hempton - right to Deddington - further beer at Deddy Arms. About 2 hrs for a fat bloke - 1.5 if you're lean & fit. (+ beer stops). Enjoy.

<snipped useful route info> right onto track - left onto road - up hill to Hempton - <snipped interesting bit about having a beer>

I'm a fat bloke, bought another bike for my 60th 2 years ago... I built this lightweight solid with slick tyres from eBay bits, and I can't get up that hill! It makes me see stars!

I used to do time trialling, and went back to it when I was 40, but gave up riding for a few years. I live and work in the village, so I use an old blue iron as a go to work bike.
