I reckon that the team that put up and take down the market each month are wonderful!
Yesterday was very, very cold. There was a smattering of snow as they put up, and lots of snow as they took down. All the gear has to be packed up, placed in trollies and wheeled away to safe keeping. When it's covered in snow, the roads are slippery and everything is cold and stiff, it's all a lot less fun than on a balmy summer day.
Deddington market is one of the best, and the work the erection and dismantling teams do is a major part of the success.
