WJ Carvill - brick carving

This name, engraved in a brick on the garden side of a house in The Horsefair, is that of Wallace James Carvill who died in France in 1917. The house belonged to a Mr Manchip, tailor, at the time. Photo courtesy of Maureen Dew.
