DESCRIPTION:As many of you know\, Harry Palin\, Sian Westbury and I are driving and delivering evacuation vehicles to female medics in Ukraine in March 2026\, dubbed “Convoy 55” with the organisation Driving Ukraine. \nIf you’re interested in what this journey is really like and how the vehicles are received in Ukraine – we are delighted to be showing “Convoy 37” an incredible\, candid and inspiring documentary made by Andy Staples (Award winning film-maker) on Friday 20th February at the Windmill Centre\, Deddington.  The film follows Driving Ukraine’s January 2025 convoy from Silverstone track to Lviv\, Ukraine\, with 26 volunteers delivering 12 CasEvac vehicles.  This will be the same route we will be travelling with “Convoy 55” in March (next month). \nThe March convoy is an all-female convoy and we are doing it under the motto of United Nations IWD 2026 #GiveToGain.  It won’t be easy but we all want to support the Ukrainian people who are suffering such hardship since the invasion. \nPlease come and join us to watch this amazing film (featuring local fundraising hero – Fynn Watt!) and enjoy a complimentary drink (wine\, beer or soft drink).
