22nd Battalion County of London Reg't (Queens) 'somewhere' in France 1917

Photo courtesy of John Bowler whose father Leslie is in the photo. He says: " Colonel Greenwood is in the middle of the front row (6th from the left) with Father on his left. Father must have been the Adjutant to be in that position and the second-in-command would be on the Colonel's right. Note the astonishing uniformity of dress, particularly the Sam Browne belts. This photo must have been taken when they were in Reserve, possibly before the Battle of Messines, 3rd Ypres, in June 1917. I wonder how many lived until the Armistice on November 11th 1918? "
