Deddington Boys School, 1900 Back row (l to r): Joe Hiorns, Walter Hopcraft, Frank Whetton, ? Hancox, Percy Wilkins, J Beeskey, W Hancox, T A.Manchip (Schoolmaster)
2nd row: Harry Hall, David Bliss, G Bliss, Spencer Hopcraft, Albert Gardner, H Harris, Fred Butler, G Hale, D Nickles, J Simons, W Grace
3rd row: Wm Wilkins, Harry Whetton, Harry Hicks, P Callow, Frederick Holiday, F Jennings
Front row: W Bassett, Benbo Hirons, (Henry Churchill?), ? Beesley, ?, ?

The picture is a poignant one because 5 of the boys were subsequently killed in WWI. Their names are on the War Memorial
Joe Hiorns, W(alter) Hancox, Albert Gardner, W(illia)m Wilkins, Henry Churchill. There is a ? after Churchill's name on the handwritten list so as Henry would have been 13 in 1900 there is doubt because the boy in the pic may be younger than that.
