Brass band

Deddington Brass is the village’s own brass band

Established in its present form in 2012, it continues a long history of brass band music in the village – Deddington is recorded as having a brass band back in the 1890s.

The band gives a number of performances each year, including playing for several of the annual community events and is very pleased to be able to play at important occasions in the calendar like Christmas and Remembrance Sunday. Additionally Deddington Brass plays regularly at the Farmers’ Market and events held by or in support of local charities, in particular Katharine House Hospice.

Anyone interested in joining, of whatever age and standard – established, learning, or wanting to start – is welcome.

For contact details, and for more information on the band and future performances, or you would like to see if Deddington Brass can play at an event or occasion you are organising, see the DIRECTORY or the Deddington Brass’ Website
