In order to provide some of the services of this website we may need to collect certain personal data and/or make use of cookies to support the services. We explain these below. This privacy policy will be reviewed, and may be revised, from time to time. You may wish to revisit it regularly.

Collection and use of personal data

We do not collect personal data as a result of merely viewing the DOL website. However, if you decide to take part in certain services of the website (e.g. as a content editor) then we may ask you to create an account. This requires the collection of name and email information.

DOL may make use of personal data that you have provided to:

  1. Allow natural operation and administration of the website, including contacting you
  2. Respond to enquiries you may make
  3. Publish it where the personal data has been collected for that purpose (such as the index of clubs & societies)

We will treat your personal data with care. We will correct or remove personal data on request to editor@deddington.org.uk.

We will retain your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal data of a child under 13 we will take steps to delete the data as soon as possible.
