Liz Woolley: Kingerlee – the family and the building firm since 1868

The Kingerlee family and firm influenced Oxford’s development in the Victorian/Edwardian
periods. We will hear of the many private and public buildings which the construction company
has built, renovated and repaired in and beyond the city.
The Deddington & District History Society exists to foster interest in the history and archaeology
of this area.
Except for the May meeting which will be in the Church, all meetings will take place in
Deddington Primary School at 7.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month from October to June
and all are welcome.
Membership for the season is £20 or £5.00 at the door for non-members.
