Defibrillators and Community First Responder Scheme

Defibs are available 24/7 at the Market Place Co-op, Windmill Centre, Hempton Church and the Duke at Clifton. We have three Community First Responders to respond to anyone suffering sudden cardiac arrest. There is also a defib at the Health Centre, available in the Centre’s opening time.

What to do when someone is in difficulty

Ring 999 and the Ambulance Service will decide if they send a First Responder who can get there before an ambulance/paramedic.

To become a CFR volunteer, email or call 0800 5870207 (24hrs).
